Philadelphia City Hall is a grand, iconic building located in the heart of Center City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Completed in 1901, it is the largest municipal building in the United States and one of the most impressive examples of the Second Empire architectural style. Atop the building's tower is a statue of William Penn, which was the tallest statue in the world at the time of its installation.
