Millennium Station
Millennium Station is a commuter rail terminal located in the heart of downtown Chicago. It was opened in 1924 as the Illinois Central Station, and was renamed Millennium Station in 2005. The station is a major hub for commuters traveling between Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, with numerous lines operated by Metra, the commuter rail system of the Chicago area. The station is also a popular destination for tourists, as it provides easy access to many of the city's most famous landmarks and attractions, including the Art Institute of Chicago and Millennium Park.
